    Baby turkey breathing weird, is she sick or just scared?

    So i just got this baby turkey a few hours ago and she was fine at the store and was peeping but when i took her out of the box she started acting really scare like not moving her head and not closing her eyes, and then she started breathing weird like she was hot accationally opening her mouth...

    I just got a baby turkey a few hours ago and she started breathing weird and i dont know if shes just scared or if shes sick because shes acting kind of scared, and its not like heavy panting breathing but its like open mouth gasping and then just barley open mouth breathing no weezing either

    Ingrown feather?

    What am i supposed to do if it is an ingrown feather? Because im certain my hen has one.

    By waxy coat do you mean like the feather is a spine covered in a waxy substance? Is it sticky? If not your chicken could just be growing its feathers back and it is natural mine do it all the time.
