    Hey guys! We have just got 2 new silkie bantams today! They are between 6-7 weeks old and we don’t know if they are Roos or hens! We already have one cockerel so just a little concerned but hoping they are hens 😍 here are a couple pics.

    Struggling to walk

    Hello, I have checked her foot and it was curled until I picked her up but then she extended the toes when I touched them and there wasn’t any obvious cuts or bruising on their legs? Thank you for your help!

    Afternoon! We have 3 chickens 1 rooster and 2 hens, one of the hens seems to be struggling to walk, she seems to limp every time she walks (or runs) and then is constantly laying down.     Hey BYC! We have been using this site for a while while raising our chicks to chickens. We have one roaster and 2 hens … Betty, Burty and Sooty. Any help on how to help raise them would be great, as I think they are approaching laying age now!
