Thank you. I'm loving this new hobby/venture in my life. They are so rewarding. I have one of my RIR that runs to greet me(looking for a handout) lol but they are so sweet.
Hi guys and gals, I'm new to chickens been doing this about 3 months. I started with 6 hens and a roo, shortly after I picked up 3 more hens. I'm averaging about 5 eggs a day. I'm not sure who all is laying but they are happy hens for sure. What tips might you have for a newbie? I'm looking...
Any idea what my roo is? He's beautiful but very young only 7months old. I'm pretty sure 2 of my 9 are welsummers, and the easter egger, I was told that the reds were red sex link but I'm doubting that they are due to their size, they are big girls.
I'm totally.new to chickens and dont know my breeds. I have 9 hens and a roo. Any help identifying them is a major help. See what I mean they are all different breeds and are mostly brown eggers with a white egger mixed in and a mystery egger there too. Any help is appreciated.
