    Oh my gosh, I hope you are all right!, except for the possible bronchitis:( They haven't had any discharge from eyes or beaks. The one I think is making the noise is the colorful one with the red cone on his/her head. Thank you for all your input! I'll let you know what it turns out to be.

    Thanks for all the questions. Maybe not enough grit, but they free range in a large fenced area all day. They are eating tons of grower/starter food, alongside bugs,clover,herbs,..sometimes corn treats from the co-op. Lots of ventilation, no bedding, chicken cloth in the bottom of the coop...
