okay the past few days my flock of chickens slowed down on laying just a little bit. the weather has been very humid so i'm wondering if that's reasoning for the slow down. i usually collect all the eggs at the end of the day...but got home LATE last night and wasn't able to gather the eggs...

I'm quite concerned. Yesterday morning I went out to let my chicken flock out and I found a dead hen. No warning signs what so ever. No wounds or nothing. Should I be concerned of some disease with the rest of the flock? My mind is going a little crazy with this. The hen was only 8 months old.

My husband brought home a pair of Serama chickens. They are absolutely the coolest So I've been reading a bit on the internet about them. I'm a little worried about winter time cause they're classified as tropical birds. I live in NY so it gets quite cold during winter. So what is too cold...

It would be great if anyone could help me out here. I'm so confused on what to feed my ducks! I have 4 nine week old Rouens and 6 seven week old Pekins. They are on chick starter feed right now. It just seems that every time I go to the animal feed store someone always tells me different...

I hope someone can answer my question. I have one group of 4 week old ducks and another group of 2 week old ducks. the weather here has gone from a high of 60 to a high of about 90. should i still use the heat lamp when the temperature is 90 outside? I don't know if they need the extra heat...

alright, i would really like to get some ducks this spring! I'd like to do a little brief research before getting the ducks. Does anyone know of a good website with information on raising baby ducks??? I googled and I'm really not finding too much firm info. I appreciate the help if you have it!

I have a rooster that looks exactly the same!! Mine is a mix of Golden Comet and Rhode Island Red..at least that's what I was told when I got my chicks. He's also my favorite, very friendly.
