    I've been soaking in Epsom salts. I'll try a saline rinse. I've also been rinsing with diluted betadine too. I wrap like you--gauze & vetwrap. Thank you!!

    We removed a large kernel from a sore on the bottom of this hen's foot a couple days ago. She still has a spot of swelling on the top of her foot near her toes.     Here's what it looked like tonight. I did end up soaking up so I could clean out some sloughing from the wound. The pink spot looked about the same. Still a little warm but not hot.

    I'm treating a hen for bumblefoot. A kernel was removed last night from the bottom of her foot (pic below). She still has this swelling on top of her foot today. It is a little warm. Does this normally resolve, or will I need to lance the top of her foot as well?
