    I give ours any fruit or veggie scraps except citrus. I forget off hand what they can't have but I know there's some similarities with what dogs eat so if I'm unsure I don't give it to them. I give ours grass, fruits, veggies, and occasionally scratch since it's been hot. They LOVE blueberries...

    RIRs - hens or roosters?

    I agree with outpost JWB. I had 6 Rhode Island Reds, hoping to be all hens but 2 turned to be a rooster. Roosters tail feathers curl whereas the hen stay up. Hope this helps.
