Went out this morning for my standard grape feeding which they all love, and when done they started scratching around me in my chair. What really surprised me was two of the girls got chased by a single bee, I have 6 hives, and they were 25 feet further away from the hives than I was!

I have had my laying hens for around a week and a half and heard my first egg song today. With 8 mixed hens U Have Been Getting 5-7 Eggs A Day Without Full Free range. I started 2 days ago letting them out 1 hour before sunset, and they are doing well.

I just got my hens 4 days ago, laying hens from a friend (HOA issues), and have been getting 5 daily from 8 hens.

The only issue I have seen is that if you reply to an article it does not show up in items you have posted or replied to and no way to subscribe to an article. Sorry kind of a nit...

I have just started researching raising, batch style, these for meat and have a question. In the reading I have done I have repeatedly seen the caution about overfeeding them so how correctly feed them, assuming no free range. Thank you for your time and support in advance.
