I live near Madison, wi and have had chickens for 4 years now. We have a small backyard flock of 8. I've learned many interesting ways to care for them and continuing learning each year. They are fun and best of all, we love their eggs!
I also just had a been that had a lump of infection between her toes, more toward the top of her foot. I made a small incision and squeezed and the infection popped out. I cleaned it and wrapped it. This was after I treated the bottom of her foot for bumblefoot.
