Oh I have 8 ducks. if they dont come up to me ill chase them, pick them up and make them let me pet them. The two boys are really nice and come up to me on their own tho. If they are being moody ill grab them and ruffle their feathers lol -

Finally Japser accepts all his new babies and they are living together as one big family. He still nips at them a little when they get too close but they were all swimming today I now have 8 happy ducks -

the peas can make him poop like that. They poop what ever color they are eating and the peas will make it wet poop looking like diarrhea plus he is stress out. give him some time -

well for being 6 months he sounds pretty active. Im sure he just wore himself out matting and now hes sore. Keep an eye on him and try to not let him mate anymore for a few days. -

I had a duck injure itself almost every time it matted. It would fall out of the pool and hurt its leg. Silly duck. Took him up to a week to stop limping. -

do you have any other ducks he could be trying to mate with? He could be just worn out if thats the case. Give him lost of fresh water and food. 24hrs is not too bad. My ducks usually bounce back the next day after being watched closely -

Thanks. Everyone is happy as can be. Momma is taking care of her babies again and the boys have their area to waddle around. It worked out in the end. After a night under the heat lamp and me flushing the nasal area and lots of fresh water it is doing perfect I also made a big fenced area for the two drakes in front yard and the momma is with babies is back yard. Its about half an acre cut in half. They can see and talk to each other still... -
