    Cant figure out what's wrong.

    labs... $165.00 we did not have Agnes because of this expense..... the rest of the flock seems fine so far. still wish we knew what had happened.

    Egg shells with patches of what looks like tiny seeds that flake off

    We also just got an egg just like the one in 1st photo of this thread. very curious to find what it may be,,,, I thought perhaps it was some sort of bug eggs. Also just lost one of our ladies last night to ... unknown? :( (posted on another thread.) Mrs. Mojoe

    Thank you, we will update when we find out what caused this.....yes all part of raising and caring for these wonderful birds.... I will need to develop a bit thicker skin.I didn't think I would fall so hard for "a bunch of chickens"..... but so amazed at what personalitys they each have, I have...

    well...Agnes Died just a bit ago..... we are sad...this is our first loss.... still no idea what was wrong with her... we will bring her for labs....RIP Aggy girl. any ideas?...

    Last night I found one of my girls sitting in the yard when all the others had gone to roost. I carried her to the hen house and it took her a long time to come out this morning.
