    So thrilled we have a new prince here

    They changed the rules in the uk before this baby was born....equal rights if baby was born male or female now so the first born will rule! Prince Charles wont have a queen, Prince William wont have a queen either. There hasn't been a true King and Queen since the 1600's.

    Chickens wont roost.

    Thanks for all your replies! My chickens are at point-of-lay and I know they came from a breeder that had them in a big barn on the floor with shavings. I only have the three of them and there is one big empty roost beam and they all just look funny on the floor. My sister has huge big turkeys...

    Thanks for all the greetings!! Mink eat anything, they would take eggs, chicks and fully grown birds. They can fit in such small spaces and that's a problem. Mainly found around water and we are near a large river. Are Skunks chicken eaters?

    Chickens wont roost.

    I have three chickens and have them over a month now. They insist on sleeping on the floor of their coop not on the roost bar. I don't really mind if that's where they rather be but I wonder why? has anyone seen this before and do they eventually want to sleep up higher? Thanks

    Hi, Foxes are our main problem as they are everywhere...in the towns and the countryside. I am in the countryside and we have lots of Mink. (escapees from mink farms years ago as they are non native!). Its fascinating to read about coyotes and coons and things on here...they seem really exotic...

    Chickens won't roost in the hen house

    Just came across this thread and I have seen rat attacks where the rat for some reason only eats off the chickens head. Its horrible, and a rat can get in to the smallest space. yeuk.
