    When I hatched some eggs before, my dog (med-large size mix)wanted to get in the brooder with them! The chicks were her babies. She was very protective of them. Always had to check on them. Let's see how she is when I get my new ones that are not hatched but are young.

    well 7 out of 12 hatched. the rest never developed completely but hey they're strong and healthy!

    Lock dowm tomorrow. 3 eggs were not developing. Took them out. Rest looked good. I hope the rest are OK. No odor in the incubator. Never hatched chicken eggs before.
