    your chicks sound soooooo cute. Mine are approx. 5 wks now. I think it's safe to say they know you're mom! I'm sure they'll be following you soon.

    I do the same with mine. I palm feed them every time I am with them. I do the same and constantly talk to them. I say " chick chick Chickens" lol. I do that before opening their coop so they don't get startled when I open the coop in the morning. They are teenagers and they follow me every so often.

    I ordered the color ball online. I tried the tunnel idea thanks! I used hay to get them to go inside. I've got one that loves to run in and out. This forum is amazing. I would have never guess my girls would like this. Awesome! Thanks so much.

    Welcome!  I have "swing" out in my run for them.  It's actually a thick branch wired to the sides of the run, and when we first put it up I told my husband, "Rats! (or something similar...) This roost moves and we need to tighten it when we get home."  Well, we got home from our shopping trip...

    Hi everyone! I got my girls a parakeet play pen when they were babies. It's just a fun perch for them, but they really love to ring the bell that hangs on one of the ends. What do your chickens find fun? The girls are starting to grow so Hubby got a new project now!

    Thanks for the tips. I look forward to when they are full grown. Right now they all look alike. They look like teenagers and all have green eyes.

    Thanks! Right now I have them marked with food coloring on their tail feathers. It works well, but lasts about a month because they are growing so quickly.

    they love us for more than just the food. The foods a reminder for them to love us!! You raise a great point I watch less tv because I'm cleaning/ rearranging their coop or just sitting with them on my lap.

    Personality personality!!!!! It's truly amazing to watch them. I spend hours daily with them. They know me well now. It's like my dogs. They are happy to see me and it breaks my heart when they watch me leave.:hu
