Hey Everyone. I am rehoming a rooster and he is very pretty. I am in Santa Clarita. Please feel free to message me with questions. I have had him since August, as a day old chick.
Posted are pics of him currently and as a youngish chick.
No thank you!! I still feel really guilty that she’s going through this. So I’m trying my best. But it really helps to have positive feedback, without criticism. Peaches is very happy and is already walking around. Even with her feet looking so poor. She be back outside once the open wounds...
Hey guys. Here are the pictures of Peaches foot. Her left foot has lost most of the dead skin and toes. While the right foot still will loose the small toe and quite a bit of skin.
UPDATE: so Peaches is doing well. She sleeps inside and goes out during the day, to be with the other chicks. Her toes are mostly black and yesterday some fell off. You can see the black dead skin and toes, that is covering or beside the new skin. These are her little toes. Sorry if it’s gross...
That’s I so interesting ting, that he is so sweet. Mine is a meanie! He attacks me very chance possible and I’ve had him from a chick. I give treats all the time now!
Yes I am just trying to keep her feet as clean as possible. So I’ve separated her from the flock. But her bin is right next to the flock and she can see and hear them. I just can’t supervise her (I’m at work) during the day and want to make sure they are not pecking at her feet. Once I am home...

UPDATE: so far, Peaches, is going quite well. Still eating and drinking and standing more. I put her back into the chick coop for some fun and friends and to keep her spirit up but she is definitely becoming more active. She did not like her epsom salt bath last night and was very vocal about...
The article was great. I wish I knew what happened to Scout. Also she has a super cool setup for the chicks with the adults. Which I think is a great idea.
I’ve started reading it. It was a great and very thorough article. I’m going to finish shortly. I’ve tajen her out and soaked her feet in warm water with epsom salt. Then She has some leg exercises on the floor and had a poo. Thank you for all the support
Thank you so much. I’ve been feeling so guilty. Feeling like, I was helping with the taping and I just ruined her life. She’s moving around. And eating and drinking. I’m taking her out and stretching her feet and toes. Hopefully she bounces back. She was doing a bit of desperate chirping. But...
