Broody Hen suddenly stops???
Hi everyone, I have a beautiful bantam Cochin who decided to go broody about two weeks ago. I was delighted! While I don't have a rooster to keep my girls company ;) I wanted to try giving her a couple 1 day old chicks to raise this Saturday. (That would put her at ~20 days of brooding)...- mOOf

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome! I wanted to start small and only got 4 (mostly because I knew next spring I'd want more chicks) I got a Barred Plymouth, an Australorp, an EE and a Blue Cochin. All of them are gorgeous 9 week old g irlies and are total lap chickens. I haven't named any...- mOOf
