    got got 2 bronzes, a royal palm, a sweet grass, 3 bourbon reds, and 2 blacks (spanish) this spring. Unfortunately, my wife named them all and declared them "pettin" not "Eatin" Turkeys. So what am I to do with them? can i hatch the eggs and sell?

    I did some improvements on this. i used an old dimmer switch on the extension cord to regulate the heat and holes with tape to control the humidity. getting constant temp humitidy for 5 days now

    you can search that title on youtube to see how to make an incubator under $20 dollars. cut about $10 off that by going to the nearest pet store (or Walmart) that sells tropical fish. they get them delivered in a styrofoam cooler every week and usually will give the packaging away for free. here...

    We started here in SE Idaho this spring and have 8 turkeys, 2 geese, 5 ducks and about 30 chickens. 5 breeds of turkey and 8 breeds of chickens. We are only planning at this stage to produce eggs (both to eat and fertilized) and hatchings for sale. Since March, we have lost only 3 to pedators...

    dia earth 3 times a year to deworm. mix in feed amount varies by flock size.

    i used Dumor Chick starter 24% crumble. After they got feathers went to 16% grower mash mixed with wheat and cracked corn. equal parts. will add oyster shell when they start to lay. Edited by Staff
