Interesting ok. We don’t really care to breed - just want a little flock on the property but I don’t want to accidentally produce inbred babies either by keeping the wrong mix of sexes. Thanks!
Thank you!! If we ended up keeping 1 M and the females do we need to make sure they don’t hatch babies for inbreeding reasons (they are all either full or half siblings)? Or is it better to keep 2 males and have no females? Thanks!
Thank you! Yeah I’m not sure how long it’s been like that. I just got them last night and based on the rub mark I’m guessing it’s not brand new. It’s very hard or maybe impossible to straighten the leg without feeling like I’ll break it. Idk if it’s not a slipped tendon or it’s been going on too...

Hello turkey experts! I would love opinions on the sex of my two turkeys. I would like to add more to my flock but want to verify what I have already. I’m pretty confident one is a male but I’m not sure about the other.
They are approximately 12 week old Black Turkeys.
The one I’m not sure...
Hello,
I have seven 1 week old chicks of various breeds, including 3 silkies. One of the silkies has a much larger crop than the rest and she is about 1/2 the size of everyone else (although her feather growth is on track with theirs). I gently massaged her crop tonight and she was hard...
Hello;
I had 2 ducks that grew up together - 1 male and 1 female. I just lost my female and I want to get my male another friend (or 2?). He’s almost 2 years old. Should I only be looking at females - will he fight with another male? Also does the age of the new ducks matter? Thanks in advance...
