    There are no children in my household or within a half mile radius of my property. The chickens live in my back garden which is fenced off and absolutely no chance of a child entering by accident.

    Thanks for the reply. I’ll give that a try. I had thought about it as I’d sprayed him with hose the other night and it stopped him in his tracks 😂 I have a bottle that was previously used for the cats and worked well in stopping them scratching the sofa. It’s definitely worth a try! Thanks you

    Thanks, I really do hope it’s a phase. He’s such a handsome boy and looks after the hens. The consolation I take from it is that if he can stand up to and injure me - what will he do to a potential predator!
