    Easter Egger sexing

I was told that the rooster of my easter egger chicks had a pea comb and that all the chicks when they are roosters they get the pea comb and the hens can have big or small single combs. Is it possible I got a rooster with a single comb?

    Easter Eggers

These don't look like easter eggers they look IDENTICAL to my Blue Orpingtons. Might be mostly mixed with Orp? But with these, I am seeing 3 pullets and 1 rooster.

    Sexing baby chicks

Wing sexing only works with some breeds and usually has to be done on the first day. There is a very small window because the cockerels catch up to the pullets. Your next step to tell is at 1-week old check their tails. The pullets will have a tail growing and the cockerels will have a fluffy...

    Roo or Hen???

The thing that made me think the Orp was a roo was one he was the only one out of 4 with a red comb and his tail curls down a little. But he acts the same as the girls and doesn't look any bigger.

    Roo or Hen???

He/she is a Blue Orpington 10 weeks old. Only one out of the 4 with a red comb. Spice here is a Easter Egger and is 10 weeks old. Was told the rooster has 3 combs. And the hen had a large red comb but the other EE doesn't have a comb. Thoughts?
