Thank you, this hatch is a project I am doing with my 11 yr old grandson he insisted on being there for the bathing and operation claiming that if he was going to have chickens he needed to know the good and the bad. I am very happy it worked out especially considering my partner lol

I hatched 2 lots of eggs from different sources this spring and have a wide variation of birds kinda curious what this fellow is? He has feathered legs and a silver laced breast
I guess the surgery was successful I went out to find 2 eggs and today there were 2 more ( I guess my son did not know to look for eggs ) but it appears she is recovered and laying fine. Hope this can help someone else
