That is my suspicion too....now to convince my daughter. ;-) Has anyone ever had a Roo be silent and act like a hen?

This chicken hatched on June 6th...he has yet to crow...or lay. It acts like a hen by participating in hen pecking if the new batch of hens I added, sits in an egg box, and gets pecked by the more dominant hens. But...it looks like a rooster!. This is how it sleeps, the one in the bottom left...
