I have 3 adult ducks (one male two females) and 5 four-months old duck(lings). They're crossbred and they don't seem to be able to fly like real mallards. They range freely inside my fenced backyard.

chicken likes to sit on a branch ofotrees. Maybe they like to show off that they're still birds. I placed horizontal twigs hanging/suspended inside the coop and very often i find them sitting and even sleeping on it. They seem to prefer it sometimes than just standing on flat ground
use any heat source. Just don't let the device heat the eggs directly. Use the device to heat the enclosed air which will warm the eggs uniformly. Also, even inside a small incubator, temperature can vary greatly. Try placing thermometer at different corners to see how much they vary.
If you're interested to know, seems like 2 eggs didn't make it. I feel like one egg has some smell, but i still keep it in the bator but covered with paper in case of egg bombing.
The rest are still dancing happily as if the blood veins are skipping ropes lol.
