    Rehoming disabled duckling

Not yet. Keeping my fingers crossed. I have till may 31st to find him a home, then I'll have to surrender him to PAWS humane. I won't be here to watch him. My mom happens to be visiting, so she's been helping me with his care... but, she's leaving on the 31st .

    ALABAMA!!

Hi. I'm new to this. I rescued a duckling. He's (not really sure it's a boy, but that's wheat I refer to him as) almost 4mo now (I'm guessing) and he's a crested pekin. He is disabled and blind in one eye. He has his own wheelchair, one I made, anyway. I need to find him a forever home. I...

    Rehoming disabled duckling

Sadly, I must rehome my duckling, Mr.Peeps (aka: Maverick). He (we don't really know the sex, but we refer to Maverick as male) is approximately three months old. Maverick is in a wheelchair, and he is blind in his right eye. His legs work, he just has no balance (from brain damage/injury?)...

Need help with baby duckling, wry neck or neurological?

I was just looking for info on my new (first) duckling, and came across this feed. I'm a new member as this is muy first duck. Don't know if it's a boot or girl. Peeps has one closed eye. No swelling, no apparent infection. Peeps doesn't walk, doesn't stand, definitely has wry neck, as it's...

My blind (or partially blind) duckling

I believe Peeps has wry neck. But, looking at all these possible diseases, I'm worried it might be something more serious. Peeps has ataxia. The legs paddle, with no balance, or standing/walking. And, pushes itself over into its back. I just don't know what's wrong. One eye opens normally, but...

    Sickly duckling, someone please help!

I have Mr. Peeps (not sure of it's a boy or girl) on a heating pad, set at medium, and wrapped in several clean towel rags, in a box. We're out of town, two of my dogs and I, and, I came across this sickly little duckling, and just couldn't leave it there to die. I have no idea what his food is...

My blind (or partially blind) duckling

How can I tell if my duckling is blind? The rest of his clutch is walking, but this one is not. My duckling was free, as they thought it would die. And, I've never had one before... but, have a soft spot in my heart for injured animals. My little duckling was smaller than the rest, and very...

    Sickly duckling, someone please help!

I just got my first duckling. I rescued it from certain death at Tractor Supply. It was sick when I got it, but I know it needed some special attention, and didn't think it would get it there (as it was just laying in a box, separated from the others, and not moving much). I've had it a little...
