    Thank you. I thought the lifting and scales falling off was due to the swelling of his foot since it did get swell to the point he had large gaps between his scale. i noticed the scales started falling off earlier today. I'll apply some vet rx or Vaseline to his legs and feet after his soak tonight.

    Thank you for the reply. I don't have calcium citrate but I do have calcium carbonate supplement 600mg on hand. Could I give that instead? Does dosage matter? She's about 5 pounds.

    Help! Advice please, my girls are not eating

    Have you tried to put the fermented feed through a blender to make it more of a mash? See if they will maybe eat it that way. I also agree to steer away from the treats to encourage the chickens to eat their regular feed.
