    They are 20 weeks today, the silvery girls have slate legs with pale feet and the black girls have black legs with yellow feet. None of them has any comb or wattles to speak of, not much reddening of the face.

    No expert here, but I would agree with Rhodebar Lover. The legs on your Easter Egger are pretty thick and yeah the comb on number 2 says roo to me :)

    Gold Laced Wyandotte - pullet confirmation & question about age?

    I'm really interested in the answer to your question about free-range hens growing more slowly! My 20-week old girls seem so small compared to others of the same age and they aren't in a pen except to coop up at night. Any expert thoughts on this?
