    My sapphire gem developed a prolapse on Sunday. She lays gigantic eggs and we think that’s what caused it.     First time broody momma!

    Mine is still being pretty sweet other than screeching she lets you pet and hold her. This whole this in weird though. I didn’t think they were supposed to lay while brooding but I locked her out of the coop this afternoon and she pooped her egg on the lawn. I don’t know what to think anymore.
