Well, if any of you ever end up with the."violet" please let me know!! I want some really bad! I only have juvenile wyandottes, a blrw roo, splash roo & 3 splash pullets. I really love.the Foley lines! But I think I like the violet better!- MrsRadford

Introducing new birds to the flock
Thanks! I have them in a large wire dog crate in the coop now. They've been in there since they feathered Out. Along w/ 2 juvenile pekin ducks. I tried letting the ducks out because theyre almost as big as my rooster. but my rooster kept attacking them. So I put them back in the crate.- MrsRadford

Pekin Duck Club!
They're already in my house in a big water trough that they refuse to stay in and are outgrowing. And my dog doesn't bother them as long as they stay in it. But I'm afraid she'll hurt them if she catches them out. And they stink. I clean the trough out daily but they're SO messy. I'm thinking...- MrsRadford

They may only be a month old. They're big & fluffy. So once they feather, can they be put.on the pond? I have a dog house I can put down there. Tonight is supposed to be the last cold night we have. Id be afraid to put them in the coop w/ my rooster. He's a lil protective of his flock. I don't...- MrsRadford

How long does it take for a pekin to feather out? I have 2 that are about 2m old & still aren't feathered out. They're so messy, but they're still lil fluff balls & I'm just wandering how much longer before they can go outside?- MrsRadford
