    Thanks for the input... After dinner, we decided to separate two of the roosters that seemed to be causing a problem. Immediately, the hens (and the other 3 roosters) were off the roosts eating and drinking. I guess I'll finish the construction of the chicken tractor to keep those roosters...

    feather loss

    I have a lot of feathers around the coop (21 chickens in all). I think part of it is from the roosters pulling them out, but my thought is that it's most likely similar to humans losing hair. You lose and re-grow hair daily. JMO, so anyone please correct me if I am wrong...
