    I’m so sorry. I lost both of my eggs unfortunately. My first time incubating and I feel as though I’ve lost a pet :(

    no worries, I don’t mind questions. Yes I have an analog thermometer and a digital thermometer and hygrometer in there, the incubator temp and humidity readings weren’t reliable :(

    Day 19 muscovy eggs, temp 101 humidity 40%. Think I lost both of them, I can’t see movement in either anymore, veins are receding it looks like.

    I think I already know the answer to this but i’ll ask anyway :hit Attached is a picture of my two eggs. You can clearly see something isn’t right with the one egg. I candled very quickly and saw veins still, but it looked almost like they were bleeding out?

    Thank you! Assisting as in make a safety hole, and if it doesn’t externally pip on its own peel back the shell, apply coconut oil, and slowly peel back the membrane?

    So happy to report the egg I thought I lost looks SO much better and is moving around a lot :celebrate I also don’t think the air cell has detached, I think it just became very saddled. Humidity has been 35-42% the past few days. Feeling good!

    Muscovy egg day 14!

    Here’s one of my muscovy eggs on day 14! Air cell is smaller than I’d like, but I had the humidity way too high for a little. Corrected now and this little guy is moving around so much! 3 more weeks :love
