    The ground wire does not need to be insulated. Just the wire with the live current except for where you want it to be exposed to provide the shock. And Paramark IMHO does make the best charger. As I showed in the link that is what I use for my main charger. But the little Yellow jacket works...

    Are you guys doing this for a PERM fencing solution or temp as you move it around? If perm I can only say that type of setup would cost you a lot more then you need to pay... My advice for people looking to go electric. Go to your local feed/tractor store. The staff can give you the best solution.

    It will work even better in the wet weather. Wetter the better. As long as the charger of course is in a dry area.
