I locked them in their run today because of severe weather, they went into their coop like normal at bed time. Hopefully we are on the road back to normal
Hello, I hope everyone is doing well. I need some help! I have 2 grown hens and they all of a sudden have decided to sleep outside of their coop. They coop is predator safe. I cleaned out their coop, sprayed for mites and put fresh chips down thinking maybe it was too messy but I keep up on it...
Thank you! I have one long roost for them in the coop, it's just the two of them for now. I truly thought they were just mad I put sand in the run the first couple of days and when they went in on their own last night I was relieved they forgave me. Haha, well I guess not, maybe it was because...

Hello! Curious what your thoughts are as I've read mixed things. Is there a certain age baby chicks need to be before introducing a dast bath station for them? I've heard as early as 2 days old all the way up to 6 weeks..
Thanks so much!
So it's better to just put them all on a medicated feed to help with coccidiosis as it doesn't effect the vaccination against mareks? I started non medicated today for my 4, will it hurt them to switch to a medicated in a few days?
Can I keep my vaccinated and non Vaccinated together?
They are vaccinated against Mareks.
picture of brooder attached. Heat lamp is the current heat source on one end. I have a thermometer in there to keep an eye on the temp. It's attached to a chair so can be adjusted if needed.
Hello! Hope everyone is doing well and baby chicks season is full of chirps! This is a two part question but the main part is based off the headline.
I was supposed to get all of my chicks from one location but they had some last minute shipping issues so I got 4 of my soon to be 13 from a...
