    Was told this was an Americana. Do you know what is?

    We bought this chicken at Family Farm and Home. Was told it was an Americauna, but from what I’m reading Americaunas don’t have feathers on their legs. Any ideas on what breed this? We ended up with 3 like this.

    That is what I was thinking too because of the golden brown face, but I wasn't sure because the feathers looked different from Golden Laced. They don't have the golden color to them yet, it is more of a tan.

    We bought three chicks in a straight run. We don't remember what the sign said. DH thought it said ISA Red, but I could not find that anywhere online. They are similar to the four we bought at the farm store that were Rhode Island Red, but these three are much larger. The front one puffs...
