    Try Dines Farm in Oakhill NY. But you're not going to get anyone in Albany to do it. I'm not sure what is up past Saratoga. You can always butcher yourself. I'm in Worcester (about an hour west of albany) and go to dines.

    Are there puncture wounds on the neck? Do you have any streams/creeks/rivers/ponds by you? I recently had a major mink attack, and the breasts were ripped open, with hardly any meat removed. But I really have no idea...sorry

    Best thing is to e-mail/call these people. I'm from NY and called the NYS dept. of agriculture and markets. They were extremely helpful and very willing to help.

    rescued horse.. what to feed to help with weight?

    My favorites for putting weight back on are Purina Senior Feed, Beat Pulp, and corn oil. Of course free choice hay and water. Purina Senior feed is a complete feed, and works amazingly.
