    How many square feet per chicken?

    I have quite a few acres that are well vegetated (many trees, brush and grass), that I plan on letting them free range on during the day. How much area do smaller breeds need if they are mainly just cooped up while small chicks and later as adults roosting at night? I plan on getting another...

    Baby Chick Pictures!!!!! POST!

    These are part of my flock, they are just over a month old (still babies to me). Silver Laced Hamburg pullets, Blue Andalusian rooster and a Cuckoo Maran rooster.

    2 roosters in mixed flock

    I am new to raising chickens, I just got 14 Silver Hamburgs with 2 roosters they are all three weeks old. This article and post has been very interesting and helpful.
