    I use lime, but only lime from FIRST SATURDAY LIME. Works great. No respiratory issues, no parasites. I keep a tire full outside under our run-in so the coop doesn't get all covered in dust. I also put a small amount in each nest box for mite prevention. Love this product! So do my chooks.

    I'm a recycled. I use a tire filled with First Saturday Lime. My chickens love to bath in it and dont get mites or lice.

    Yeah, I know they lay large white eggs.I didn't specifically buy leghorns. I got 6 fancy breed(ha-ha on me!) I ended up with 5 white hens and 1green egg layer that got really sick this past spring. Never again from TSC.

    Good question. None of my white hens lay white eggs. But they lay various shades of very light blue, green and cream.
