    The hawk won't care as long as it's duck lol I have seen varied colors but that one duckling doesn't look remotely Mallard and fits a swedish standard perfectly so far guess we'll wait and see

    They are being raised for food so in the long run flight isn't a concern

    Yep a hatchery... I figured they goofed just wanted to see if anyone has seen a dark Mallard duckling before I have ordered plenty and raised some when I was younger and don't recall a black one

    Got a shipment of Mallards and I have never seen a mallard Duckling as dark as this one The rest look normal like the one on bottom.....
