    They haven't really laid what I would consider good since last fall/late summer and they were all 1yo this past March. Gonna try a different brand of feed and see what happens. They do get lots of table scraps as well.

    I know there was some negative press on Tractor Supplies Producers Pride Layer feed back a year or so ago.     Run plants

    What are some of you planting/having luck with in your chicken run that chickens will not destroy within first week. Some for shade/protection and others to nibble on from time to time but not a source of everyday feed.

    Get a LSG Dog to hang out with the chickens...short of you hanging out with them with a gun that's the next best thing if your gonna free range them.
