    They do not, they roost on a perch at night outside of it, but don't usually go inside unless I bribe them with treats. They did use the nesting boxes, but since the spring they've been laying outside.

    I moved my 2 5or6 week old chick's outside today. They are in the top part of the coop with the door shut (can see and hear the other two one year old hens) I put the brooder plate I had in crate in my house and food and water. I'm so nervous!     These were supposed to be pullets, my stepmom showed up with two just hatched April 13th (happy birthday to me!). I have no idea breed, but everyone keeps saying roosters. Can anyone tell? Please and thank you all!

    My stepmom showed up with two just hatched chicks for my birthday present April 13th. I had every intention of getting more of the black star sexlink that I have, but, now I have these. He says one is a roo. Either way, I love them already. Can anyone help?
