I did not take him out of his shell because when he lifted his head I was able to see yolk. I tried giving him some sugar water. Shortly after his stopped moving. It's been 30 minutes and no movement from him can't tell if his heart his beating or not. Pretty sure he passed.

He is still alive. I have him in a box with hot water bottles. I'm just not sure how much longer her will live

I have a Muscovy with 6 eggs due to hatch Friday. Yesterday one started to pip. My hen broke open the egg and carried it out of the nest. The duckling is still alive and the bleeding has stopped but I am not sure what to do. Do I leave it in the shell or take it out of the shell?
