    Starter feed from local grange co-op 21% protein.

    We cannot really open the window they are in the livingroom but we would have to cool the entire house as it is very open floor plan. We can put them in the coop, these are our 1st chickens, and are going to start taking them out today and get them used to it over the next couple days.

    We have not taken them outside yet didn't have an area set up till this weekend to contain them.

    We got 4 Easter eggers but one is very different than the others. I know they are hybrids but this one below seems very unique. Any ideas?

    I took the plate out for now, it is still staying under the heat lamp mostly, 92-94 there. I scattered food around the area that it seems to peck out hopefully it does preen a lot just hangs out under the lamp still.

    I switched to a lamp during the day today to see if she was just cold. I was thinking that it was fine with just the plate warmer as all the other chicks were active and would go in and out.
