I have found out recently that 2 chickens will use a nesting box at once. I have buffs and rhode island reds. I've seen this twice now. The buff will be in the box sitting then a red will work her way into the same box.... the red will jump out a bit later having "laid" her egg.. Did she just...
I'd like to let my 2 year old girls outside of their enclosed run. They have not been out side their run before. I'm thinking the girls need excitement and something new. I am worried about them being bored.
