    I'm sorry too. I worry all the time about something like that happening. My husband is finishing up the chicken house so this makes me look even harder to find places that predators might be able to get in. Never thought of something as small as a rat until now. :(

    I have some that look like that only now at three weeks they almost look a little smokey underneath and inside their feathers by the skin. What do you guys think? Still black but a little smokey? Or a secret blue. ;)

    Hey everyone, I was just wondering if since wyandottes are so friendly I could get away with having 2 roosters for 8 or 9 hens? I have the Blue Laced Red wyandottes. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks for helping. :/

    Hi DeannaOR, I guess we are just gonna have to wait and see. I wish someone would have some pictures of the 2 colors. Just a wild guess but I'm gonna say yours are blue. It will be fun to see if I'm right. Where did you get yours from?
