    Here's my first question: my first time mama is stealing fertile eggs. So far, she's acquired 20, some are her own. She's been off only 3 times when I've been able to see what's going on under her. First, she had 3. Next, 9. Now 20! It's been almost 3 weeks since the first night on her nest. What to do??? HELP!

    It would be best to make a thread about this. What will likely happen is the first few eggs will hatch soon, and then the hen will stop sitting on the other eggs once a few days have gone by. Staggered hatches like this are really not good. The best thing to do, in the future, is mark all the eggs the hen starts with, and then check under her every day to remove the new, unmarked eggs in the nest.
