    Question: we are re homing some of our hens.. The new owner calls and asks to bing one back because she is a"bully" pecking and being nasty??? She was top girl in our flock but not nasty.. Hmmm whats up?

    Six hens had to be fenced in...

    Our five-six month old girls were not staying home or together.. They will come when called but not a safe siuation because they were going far... Fenced them in and got four eggs the first day! They were in no danger and were not looking for shelter, they just wander... Why???

    No, they only go in during the day.. They are 95% feathered but we live in Vermont and it gets cold still at night.. The plan is burying a screen and also put the coop down in the ground a little.. Is that good?

    My birds are 95% feathered ( a few months old) they come inside at night and go out during the day.. Except it is chilly today 40-50 is that too cold to be out?
