    I've ran into an issue !

    Ok so... I recently just posted that I just joined byc ... And I had a new baby chick(with a pic ) ... However ... My wife went out this morning and found it dead ... We believe it was trampled by either our goats or one of our dogs ( 3 broody hens are laying with the eggs/chick ) ... Sad news...

    To answer shortly to you ... Thanks for caring ! I take no offence to anything anyone says most the time ha ha But yes we have coyotes around and foxes ... I hear coyotes every night and Ive even seen one fox within 100yards ish from the chickens ... My one dog chases the predators and my lgd...

    I'm new to posting on this forum (have been reading posts for probably a year) I finally bought chickens (9hens and a rooster) 2 ish months ago ... They are Ameraucana ( laying light blue eggs) After having some(3 hens) go broody ... Me and the wife decided to let nature take its course ...
