    Working with what I had on hand, I added a small amount of apple cider vinegar to their water and the smell has nearly vanished after 1 week.

    Hi, Did you ever resolve the problem? I'm having the same foul smell with one of my week-old chicks and not sure what to do for her. I'd prefer to treat whatever it is before it gets worse.

    Hi, what did you end up doing with the sour baby? Did she recover? I have a 1 week old chick with the same problem and not sure what to do. She's acting normal apart from the foul smell.
