    Hello lisaterrell88 broken eggs in a hen can be potentially fatal for the bird while you can attemp to remove the egg yourself it is best to take the hen to you're local avian or livestock vet

    I do not bake my eggshells before feeding but I have heard about it though I don't think that baking the egg shells works to well if you just crush them well enough they should be fine n Texas ladies

    I think that because the white leghorn can be flighty but mine is very friendly but some what assertive and if you want meat they don't provide much if any but I love them nonetheless
