Our chickens are doing great ! It's been a week and they have settled in nicely and are laying between 3 - 6 eggs a day. And then my wife and daughter came home with a baby goat last night. He was born the night before. So yah. Bottle feeding and potty training.

Yah city folks just don't get it when they move into the country. When my friend's parents died his sister decided to move back to the homestead. Her husband constantly complained about the smell and noise from "that side of the farm". Uh they have cattle.

New owners here and I figured I'd post up a few pics of the coop we have. It was already here on the property when we moved in. The run is 10' X 8' X 8' and the coop is 20' X 10' x 10'. Looks like they took an old shed and transformed it into a coop. I guess the previous occupants were using...

Luckily I live out in the country now but when I had problems with complaints and Enforcement, I took a weekend to go around the neighborhood and find all the infractions I could. Then reported them all. Then went back and checked 2 weeks later. When they weren't addressed but they were still...
