    It is but I only have availability for an " indoor" door. I haven't had much luck finding horizontal doors and I've lost birds to the vertical ones. Open to suggestions!

    Honestly, I don't know weights, but my roo is about 10-11" tall (reminds me of a Seabright) and the hens are small (like a dove). I will say the hens are deceptively heavy for their size.

    You might try finding a breeder who will sell started pullets or hens. I lucked out in New England
